At CHRAC, we welcome volunteers from all backgrounds — both students and non-students. If you are passionate about human rights and would like to contribute your time and skills, we would be delighted to hear from you.
As a volunteer, you can support our work in a variety of areas depending on your interests and experience. You will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the daily work that strives to create real change. We aim to provide a meaningful and supportive environment where you can learn, grow, and make a tangible impact. Together with you, we will explore which skills you can bring and which areas of work interest you most when you join us.
Tasks can be diverse, as NGO work is complex and spans many different areas, which may shift focus depending on needs and projects. Former volunteers often highlight the trusting and flexible work environment they encountered. As one volunteer expressed: “I was very happy about my responsibilities as they were diverse and I could manage my own time to successfully meet my objectives. For instance, while writing project proposals I received a lot of freedom. In all assignments, my ideas were always taken into account”. – Blanka Kuster, Germany.
Another volunteer added: “I loved to work at CHRAC: this NGO is very inspiring just as my wonderful colleagues. CHRAC and its workers are very committed, I was very well welcomed and treated here”. – Bertille Rochard, France.
Similarly, a volunteer noted the importance of flexibility and collaboration, stating: “As a volunteer, it has been great to have the flexibility to plan my time in collaboration with the staff at CHRAC, which has also given me the opportunity to experience Cambodia.” – Sidsel Nielsen, Denmark.
Volunteering at CHRAC has given past volunteers a solid foundation and opened up new opportunities for their future careers. Please note that all work you carry out at CHRAC belongs to the organization and may not be published or used outside of CHRAC.
If you are interested in volunteering, you are welcome to contact us for more information. We ask for a motivated application along with your CV.
