On December 7th 2025, 19 civil society organizations came together to celebrate the 77th International Human Rights Day at CLIC. The purpose of the day was to raise awareness about the universal value and importance of human rights, as well as to strengthen collaboration among civil society organizations in the pursuit of rights and freedom.
CHRAC had the honor of organizing the event and received strong support from the participating organizations. Thanks to both financial support and dedicated engagement, the day was successfully carried out despite the increasing challenges faced by civil society in the country. Even as it becomes increasingly difficult to hold such events, CHRAC continues to work purposefully to promote human rights and strengthen the role of civil society.
Thanks to CHRAC, all participants received a T-shirt upon entry, adding a tangible symbol of unity and solidarity to the day.
One of the main themes highlighted in the speeches was the rights of human rights defenders. The representatives emphasized the importance of protecting those who fight for freedom and human rights, as well as the need for an open and free civil society, a rule of law without compromise, and the release of imprisoned activists.
The day culminated in a symbolic release of balloons, sent into the sky as a sign of hope, freedom, and the universal significance of human rights.
This celebration underscores that, even under challenging circumstances, civil society can come together and send a clear message that human rights cannot be ignored. CHRAC is proud to have organized the day and will continue working to create platforms where voices advocating for freedom and rights can be heard.
