Who is CHRAC?

The Cambodian Human Rights Action Committee (CHRAC) is a coalition of 22 NGO members. It was created in Phnom Penh in 1994 by a group of local NGOs and associations. 

Our Mission

CHRAC’s mission is to work for the promotion and respect of human rights, democracy and the rule of law in Cambodia.

Our Work

Joint Human Rights Monitoring: CHRAC and ADHOC at Domrey Romeal Mountainous Side, Tramkok, Takeo province.

CHRAC met with related villagers and local authorities: Vice Village Chief and Commune Councilor, family and relatives of the arrested land victims, witnesses, and the senior officials of the Provincial Forestry Administration. The human rights monitoring is ongoing.
