CHRAC Coordinates the 32 Anniversary of the Paris Peace Agreements on Cambodia

The CSO Celebration of the Paris Peace Agreements on Cambodia commonly urged the signatories to implement the agreements and a large of amount of people attended the event.

20 Civil Society Organizations under coordination of Cambodian Human Rights Action Coalition (CHRAC) co-organized the 32nd Anniversary of the Paris Peace Agreements on Cambodia successfully at the Freedom Park in Phnom Penh in a good coordination and engagement with the Phnom Penh Municipality Authority. The aim of the event was to educate the pubic about the agreements and asking the signatories to ensure the full implementation of the agreements, especially the national reconciliation, restore and promote human rights, democracy and pluralism, independence and sovereignty of the country. 2,000 people attended in the event including several representatives of the Democratic Embassies to Cambodia: USA, Japan and France and UN Coordination Office. The CSO participants were from non-governmental organizations, trade unions, Community Based Organizations, active groups of citizens and marginalized groups.
